Sledging - Pure Fun
There's nothing better than the unique experience of sledging.
Even the way up is fun - gossiping with friends, or throwing the occasional snow ball. Then there's the mountain hut - cosy fires, good food and a glass of mulled wine. Finally, the best bit - a speedy ride down the valley on a sledge... a real winter highlight.
Slippery sledging fun can be had in Simmering and Lehnberghaus Mountain Huts. Rental sledges are available from the Lehnberghaus hut.
