Pettnau
Visiting the Georgskirche in the district Leiblfing - a church dedicated to St. George – is like stepping into a picture postcard. The church has been used as attractive and typical Tyrolean postcard motif for a long time. The seven districts invite you to explore them and discover first hand the rural idyll of this town. An extraordinary building is the Mellaunerhof, the oldest inn in the Tyrol. The proud estate in Pettnau, former knights residence and later also an important postal facility with large stables, had its first mention in a document in the year 1291. The tourism attractions of Pettnau include nature aplenty, a campsite, horse riding facilities and a local fishery.
